Return of palace artefacts will restore lost glory of Benin Empire- Chief Patrick Eholor

Global president of One Love Foundation, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor has expressed joy that some of the major treasures and artefacts looted by the British from Benin empire are being returned.

Eholor, while speaking to Jungle-Journalist.Com, said he was personally invited by the Benin monarch, the Omo n’Oba n’Edo Ukuakpolokpolo to witness the signing of relevant documents for the official hand-over of the artefacts to the Benin kingdom

He stated that the gesture would go along way in restoring some of the lost glories of the land, as well as restore the confidence of the people that they matter in the comity of nations.

He thanked the British Government for taking the initiative to do the needful, as well as expressed gratitude to the Oba for finding him worthy of being part of the august occasion.
