A veteran Nollywood Actor, Leo-Spider Osuji popularly known as Spider has been arrested while filming in Enugu state over the weekend.
This reporter gathered that the popular Enugu based entertainer was nabbed on the set of The Pure Water Girl, an up coming movie by IkeOdogwu TV.
Reason for his arrest is still sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity however said he was arrested for attempted murder and sell of property belonging to his late brother.
According to the producer of the movie, Ikechukwu Okafor of IkeOdogwu TV Production, who posted this development on his social media handle ‘IkeOdogwu TV’, the actor was forcefully taken away from his set while filming.
“He was forcefully taken away while filming in Enugu on the set of The Pure Water Girl…
“This happened on my set, he was taken away before he could finish filming for me… 😪, he said.
“The Pure Water Girl is a very interesting story, and his role in this movie is an important one, but with his arrest I don’t know what next to do”, he said.
Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer in the State for his reaction provided abortive.
