The incoming Senator for Enugu East Senatorial Zone, Princess Ada Ogbu Nara Unataeze, on Thursday took her consultation to the Building Materials Dealers Association, Enugu State.
In a one-on-one discussion with the traders, she reeled out her mission statement to the traders which is all inclusive.
Princess Ada Ogbu expressed her empathy, citing the regular attacks at Eha-Amufu in Isiuzo LGA.
Recall that Ada Ogbu had visited the people of Eha-Amufu, with relief materials and food items, proffering succour to the Internally Displaced Persons at the IDP Camp and those who lost their loved ones.
Ada Ogbu in clear terms, reiterated that she can never be an arm-chair legislator in the Upper Chambers since she understands the labyrinth of legislative procedures and how this will benefit her people.
Responding to, Chairman and the Secretary of the union; Mr. John Paul Ezeanowi and Pst. Onyema Nnamani; encouraged the Princess for her doggedness and tenacity.
Then addressing their fellow members, they said ” Princess, all you have said are facts we know. Our biggest challenge is getting a good representative to go for us.
From what our sister said, We believe she is acquainted with Legislative workings. Don’t forget power now resides with the people, let us make use of our votes count. It Is no longer about Party, the Revolution is here, let us go for competent people who have the capacity to deliver”, he said, even as the traders pledged to support her with votes and in any area they desire.
