The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Enugu State, Frank Nweke Jr together with the chairman of APGA in Enugu State, Ndubuisi Enechionyia honoured the invitation of the Enugu State Peace Committee and National Peace Committee to sign the Enugu State Gubernatorial Peace Accord on Saturday, February 11.
At the event were the Chairman of Enugu State Peace and Development Outreach, HRH Igwe John Azubuike Ibe, Emmanuel Nkanta, project manager, National Peace Committee, Head of Secretariat, Rev. Fr Atta Barkindo and the Chairman, Abdulsalam Abubakar.
Other key stakeholders present were the Enugu State REC, Dr. Chukwuemeka Chukwu, the Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Ahmed Ammani, representatives religious bodies and of the United Nations monitoring team amongst others.
Also, recall that in a bid to encourage civility amongst supporters, Nweke released a short charge for members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance on February 8 titled ‘Live and Let Live’.
