No fewer than six support groups have declared support for the candidature of Hon Mrs Juliet Egbo for the Federal House of Representatives, ahead of the February 25 elections.
Hon Egbo is the candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC for the Enugu North and South Federal Constituency.
The new supporters said they are dumping their different political parties for Mrs Egbo because of insensitive leadership style of their parties, describing them as houses divided against themselves.
They said they were compelled to join the #KaNwanyiJee, the blazing trail of Hon Egbo and the umbrella body of her campaign which elicit hope and assurances for the youth of Enugu North and South Federal Constituency.
Receiving the group on Friday January 13th 2023, at her residence in Enugu, the House of Representatives candidate, Hon Egbo flanked by her campaign coordinators, told them that they were in the right place.
“I am prepared to meet the demands of quality representation of our Federal Constituency and will embark on massive infrastructural, human development and economic investment. I will create enabling environment for small businesses to thrive and consistently present the demands of our people to the National Assembly for deliberation and resolution,” she said.
She told the groups that they are free to participate in all the party activities, adding that “you are free to involve and engage in all the party activities and especially at this time when we are on the campaign and election is coming.”
She urged the support groups to commence market and door-to-door campaigns, disclosing that she adopted door-to-door and market campaign strategy for effective result.
“I urge you to go out there to sensitize our people obtain their PVC and be ready to vote for me as the next House of Representatives member, representing Enugu North and South Federal Constituency. Together we can make a difference”.
