A video of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode pleading with the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), FCT chapter has been intercepted by Jungle Journalist Media Limited.
In the video, FFK is seen welcoming the Chairman, Honourable Abdulmalik Usman to his home. He does this profusely, and goes ahead to ask that the Chairman assist him in securing “whatever I can do for the party”.
Below is his conversation with Hon Usman:
“Let me start by saying, thank you for coming. Let me appreciate your presence here. For me it’s a great honour that I could be even accepted into the party in the first place. The way in which I was accepted was unprecedented and I do not take it for granted.
“I acknowledge the role of people like the governor of Kebbi State, people like Matawalle of Zamfara, people like Yobe State Governor, so many other APC governors, and of course, Mr President himself.
“I am here to help, whatever I can do for the party, not just in FCT. Throughout the North Central zone, I will thread with caution, I have a lot to learn how things are done within the party, and that’s just basically (what I request). It’s an honour and privilege to receive you, and it’s very kind of you to come to my home.
Responding, the Chairman stated “I think your genuine friendship to some of us is like homecoming. You are part and parcel of those who made this mega party, that has become this big today.”
