Ebitu-Ukiwe

A gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abia State, Mr Otisi Ebitu Ukiwe has said that he is the only one in the race that does not not have a godfather.

Ukiwe who featured in an interview on AF-Television program “Focal Point’ on Wednesday ascribed “godfatherism” as the cause of backwardness the state has experienced and asserted that he is the most prepared aspirant.

According to him, the state need a new approach as it has always produced recycled old politicians across the major parties whose ideas are outdated and their best not good enough.

In his words, “come march next year, PDP, APC, APGA and the rest are going to be producing the same men, the same age and enough is enough, old men need to stop detecting the future of us young people. they have left us in a position where we have to fight for our future and that is why I should be selected”.

The son of the former Military Vice President, Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe (rtd) opined that he represents the majority of youths as he understands their plight more as a fellow youths and can easily relate with them more than any gubernatorial candidate.

Answering questions that bordered on security, the security consultant noted that it is difficult to fight security as an average person would not want to risk his life in criminal activities especially when he is engaged in activities that would fetch him a steady income.
