As our children celebrate the 2025 Children’s Day with the theme “Tapping the Untapped Natural Treasure,” I extend my heartfelt goodwill message to all children of Nigeria, particularly those in Abia State.

This special day is a moment to rejoice in the boundless potential each child embodies and reaffirm our commitment to nurturing their growth and development.

As a passionate advocate for education and intellectual empowerment, I firmly believe that our children are the untapped natural treasures of our nation. They possess unique talents, creativity, and potential that can drive innovation, progress, and prosperity for our country and the world. On this Children’s Day, I urge parents, guardians, educators, and policymakers to prioritize the education and skill development of our children, providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and support to explore their interests, develop their talents, and reach their full potential.

The theme “Tapping the Untapped Natural Treasure” reminds us of the importance of investing in our children’s future. By doing so, we can foster a culture of innovation and promote intellectual curiosity by providing access to quality education, resources, and opportunities that stimulate their curiosity and love for learning.

As we celebrate Children’s Day, let us recommit ourselves to creating a brighter future for our children. Together, we can ensure that every child has access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities for growth and development. To the children of Abia State, I say: never stop dreaming, never stop learning, and never stop believing in yourselves, for your potential is limitless.

Happy Children’s Day!
