The Enugu State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has congratulated Ndi Enugu and Christians on the celebration of Easter, which marks the triumphant resurrection of Christ from the grave.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Stella Chukwuma, the Party noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for mankind symbolizes a rekindling of hope for a brighter future.
ADC observed that Enugu people are hungry now more than ever for better governance, just as mankind has always been hungry for salvation, stressing that the ADC has come, that the people may ‘arise and shine’.
The Chairman said: “Easter is the time to arise and shine, express love and selfless service to mankind. Our duty as a party is to preach this love and have it manifest in the lives of the people by presenting Godly men and women who will provide transformational governance and True Democratic Leadership.
“As we celebrate the rising of Jesus Christ, let us also, know that it is time for us to reflectivity use our voters cards and vote for Credible Alternative which is ADC.
In concluding, the State Chairman prayed for the state and wished all Ndi Enugu a happy Easter celebration.
