AWKA — The Abia State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the 2023 general election, Prof. Gregory Ibe, has congratulated Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his reelection as Governor of Anambra State, describing the victory as a reaffirmation of APGA’s enduring popularity and credibility.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, Prof. Ibe expressed delight over the outcome of the election, noting that Soludo’s resounding victory at the polls reflects the trust and confidence the people of Anambra have in his leadership and the APGA brand.
“I want to send heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Chukwuma Soludo on his resounding victory in the Anambra gubernatorial election,” he said. “I am particularly thrilled to note that our party’s candidate has emerged victorious, thereby sustaining the good tradition that started with the emergence of His Excellency, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, in 2006.”
Prof. Ibe described the election result as a clear indication that APGA remains the most acceptable political platform in Anambra State, the South East, and across Nigeria.
“This win is a clear indication that APGA remains the best party for Anambra State, the South East, and indeed the Nigerian nation,” he stated.
He further expressed his readiness to collaborate with Governor Soludo in strengthening the party’s influence nationwide, while praying for divine grace upon the governor to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of Anambra.
“I have no doubt that he will continue to excel as Governor,” Prof. Ibe concluded.
