The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA Ebonyi State Chapter’s Chairman, Hon. Chukwudi Nwankwo, his executive, and all the resilience members of the party said they are joining millions of Nigerians in celebrating the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, on the occasion of his 50th birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message to the celebrant, APGA, in a press statement signed by its Media Director, Comrade Chris Emmanuel, and made available to newsmen at Abakalik, the state capital on Wednesday, the party described Builder Nwifuru as a vibrant youth whose dedication to the progress and development of Ebonyi State remain enormous.
“On behalf of the entire members of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA Ebonyi State Chapter, I, Hon. Chukwudi Nwankwo, warmly celebrate His Excellency Rt. Hon. Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, on his golden jubilee celebration. Your Excellency, your desire for the progress of the Salt State is noted by our party known as the major opposition party. As we pray God to grant you more wisdom, strength, and good health to continue propelling Ebonyi to another level, APGA urges you to focus more on maintaining culture and campaign fulfilled promises. APGA stated.
The State helmsman of the party, through its media chief, called for the immediate shakeup in His Excellency’s cabinet, alleging that 80% of the cabinet members are mere content creators who are unable to meet Gov. Nwifuru’s fast move to change Ebonyi State face better than he met it.
While congratulating the Governor, APGA recalled that Governor Nwifuru assumed office in May 2023, noting that those appointed to join forces with Your Excellency to transform Ebonyi State for the better have failed to interpret the script of transformations written by the State’s one citizen after a year and ten months now.
“In less than two months now, the APC-led administration in our dear State will be clocking two solid years in office, and it will be in the history of the State that a seating governor may not have a tangible project to commission. I want His Excellency to pounder about his cabinet members if he must think about registering his name in the book of State’s history.” APGA contend.
“History and posterity will stay to record the State ‘content creators’ known as cabinet members of His Excellency as a greater per cent of them choose to remain on social media rather than working hand-in-glove with their principal to bring democratic dividends to the electorate and as we call for the shakeup, we anticipate that those who know their onions should be retained while others who see the opportunity to serve their mother State and decided not to be dedicated should be shown a way out for the progress of our dear State,” APGA concluded.
