An alleged kidnap kingpin identified as John Lyon, based in Bayelsa who advised ‘hustlers’ the source of their wealth private has been arrested in Abuja.
Mr Lyon is well known in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State for his lavish lifestyle in clubs and bars.
Lyon is known to flaunt large sums of money in various currencies on social media. He is also always surrounded by pretty ladies.
The dreaded Bayelsa kidnapper was traced to Abuja by security operatives who are said to have been tracking him for some time.
A video of Lyon after his arrest shows him begging for mercy. He claimed he has only kidnapped two people. He pleaded for forgiveness adding that his wife just had a baby.
Unfortunately for him, a man there claimed to be one of his victims described how Lyon tortured and taunted him in captivity and insisted the suspect has kidnapped more than two people.
He narrated how the alleged criminal kidnapped him and threatened to end his life.
