12 members of the Anambra State House Of Assembly reportedly dumped their political party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
These 12 House of Assembly members according to the information Jungle Journalist Media Limited received, met secretly in Abuja with some APC leaders from Anambra State.
They also held a secret meeting with APC leaders where conditions and agreements were reached.
Some of the House members who were at the meeting include; Hon Cater Dike Umeh, Hon Smart Nonso Okafor, Hon Lawrence Ezeudu, Hon Tim Ifediora, Hon Arthur Chiekwu, Hon Edward Ibuzo and some others.
With the 12 House members decamping to APC and 6 members of the House who are of PDP, APGA will lose majority in the House of Assembly when it resumes on September 21.
It was also gathered that Hon Chidi Udemadu of Ihiala I constituency has concluded plans to defect to PDP.
This is coming on the heels of the recent defection of Senator Stella Oduah, an Anambra PDP strong voice to the APC.
