ARTICLE AND RESPONSE: In the article below, President of One Love Foundation, Chief Dr Patrick Osagie Eholor examines the religious groups in Nigeria, how they swindle their gullible members and end up violating laws governing the establishment of such groups in Nigeria. He seeks to correct this.

Below, after the article is a response to the above article, by Andy Omokaro who wrote in from Europe:

The President of One Love Foundation has constituted a National Legal Team to sue the Corporate Affairs Commission, Christian Association of Nigeria, Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and other Religious umbrella Organizations, to account for all monies they have collected as offering, tithe, zakat, sacrifice and other emoluments, annuities, payments, advantages, whether in cash or in kind as these are resources that are in the Public Purse.

THE DECAY OF THE ENTIRE NIGERIAN SYSTEM

In response to ONE LOVE FOUNDATION article lately, By Andy Omokaro  (Italy)

Politics and religion has become very antidemocratic in Nigeria which has only created division on the contrary to its mission.

Politics has its rules and regulations which is the constitution.

Religion has its rules and regulations which is the sacred scriptures

THEY ARE BOTH DISGUISED ENTITIES

DRESSED IN THE UNIFORM OF BRUTALITY

The fundamentals principles of Politics and Religion has been reversed by man to keep the poor off from the piece of the pie.

They created heaven and hell on the earth.

This must be made a point of understanding.

If these two entities together put inline and does its job as enshrined, there would be equal right and justice for everyone that which foster peace and cohabitation persistency to thrive, but unfortunately the whole system is a fraud of which Nigeria is always the captain of the fleet

The religious leaders sit comfortably on their altars with the main purpose of brainwashing the citizens in the name of God.

They cram the holy scriptures of head and do not understand the contents therein.

There are 23,145 verses in the Old Testament and 7,957 verses in the New Testament. This gives a total of 31,102 verses, which is an average of a little more than 26 verses per chapter.

Guess what? They recite only chapters and verses that suits their personal interest leaving aside the most essential.

There are 114 surahs in the Quran, each divided into ayats (verses).

The chapters or surahs are of unequal length; the shortest surah (Al-Kawthar) has only three verses while the longest (Al-Baqara) contains 286 verses. Of the 114 chapters in the Quran, 86 are classified as Meccan, while 28 are Medinan.

Guess what again? The recite verses and chapters that suits most their intrest while they continue to kill their fellow men in the name of Allah.

The politicians sit on their thrones of gold hand folded watching its citizens shopping with their low eyes.

Despite all the natural resources that the whole world envies us for, here we are still retrograde.

The constitution is a mere written paper for our political leaders who never in their lives respected the rule of law.

All their behaviors are motivated by only self interest.

All this meanness and brain malaise is projected to the detriment of the poor who have to bustle and bustle on daily basis to bring something to the table for family protection.

Before the white man and the Arabs came with their misleading politics and religion, Africans were well organized with their divine gods and goddesses capable of bringing the community to chieftaincy; local administrations to tackling issues in local communities before the arrival of the Arabs and the white man came to conquer us.

I used the verb conquer because they never colonized us.

We were simply conquered and subdued.

They gave us the independence that never was because they knew that the African leaders will not be intelligent enough to use this opportunity to create good governance.

There’s no need to go more in details

The two main factors devastating the African communities today is the well architected misleading political and religious system that has only brought and perpetuate ignorances, division and impoverishment of which Nigeria is the captain.

The easiest and fastest way to make money in Nigeria today you didn’t work for, is to be a politician or a religious leader because you will never have to work in your life.
