The monarch of Imeoha Nkerefi Community, Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, His Royal Highness, Igwe Luke Ogbu Ogbuta Okorie, has sent a message of hope and joy to all Christians, especially those in his community, in the spirit of Easter.
In a statement, made available to Jungle-Journalist.Com, the traditional ruler stated as follows;
“To my beloved people of Imeoha Nkerefi, friends, and well-wishers across the world,
“As we celebrate this holy season of Easter, I extend my warmest greetings and royal blessings to every member of our cherished community and all our loved ones near and far.
“Easter is a sacred time that reminds us of the power of sacrifice, the triumph of light over darkness, and the eternal hope that springs from the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It is a season that calls us to renew our faith, strengthen the bonds of love and unity, and commit ourselves to peace, progress, and the well-being of one another.
“Let us remember the true meaning of this season: to love selflessly, to forgive wholeheartedly, and to serve one another with humility and grace. In these times, may we continue to uphold our cultural values, support our community development, and walk in the spirit of peace and harmony.
