The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, has applauded the resounding security success recorded during the just-concluded 2025 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual Conference hosted in Enugu.

Speaking during a post-conference debriefing with senior officers, CP Giwa commended the professionalism and dedication of men and officers of the Command, noting that their discipline and synergy with sister security agencies ensured that the high-profile gathering was held without a single breach of peace.

He expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for his guidance and operational support, which he said played a pivotal role in achieving the hitch-free security operations.

The Police Commissioner also extended appreciation to the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for what he described as “unwavering support to security initiatives,” stressing that the governor’s backing greatly strengthened police operations during the conference.

In the same breath, CP Giwa commended other security agencies for their effective collaboration, describing their combined effort as a model of inter-agency cooperation.

Reassuring residents of continued safety, the Police boss pledged the Command’s commitment to sustaining professionalism, proactiveness, and collaboration in protecting lives and property. He urged citizens to remain law-abiding and support the police with timely, credible information to further enhance security across the state.
