Gov Francis Nwifuru Appoints New GM For Ebonyi Trans Corporation, Commissions 20 New Buses

The executive Governor of Ebonyi State has commissioned 20 new Hiace buses for the Ebonyi State Transport Corporation (EBOTRANS).

The former Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly noted that the 20 new Hiace buses will ply Ebonyi-Abuja, Ebonyi-Lagos and other routes as deemed necessary by management.

He said the the State Executive Council has also approved the appointment of Mrs. Nnenna Igwe as the new General Manager of Ebonyi State Transport Corporation (EBOTRANS).

The executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru stated on his verified Facebook page on Thursday; “We are delighted, that in line with our mandate to meet the NEEDS of our people, Ebonyi State Government has procured and commissioned 20 new hiace buses for the Ebonyi State Transport Corporation (EBOTRANS).”

He stated further; “These buses will ply Ebonyi-Abuja, Ebonyi-Lagos and other routes as deemed necessary by management. Accordingly, the State Executive Council of October 8, 2024, approved the appointment of Mrs. Nnenna Igwe as the new General Manager of EBOTRANS.- #FON”
