The leadership of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) have lambasted the federal government of Nigeria on its attack and threat to arrest Mr Peter Obi.
According to the Pro-Biafra organisation, ‘the heavy and massive incoming protest against hunger, high cost of living, government high corruption, impunity and government insensitivities against the welfare of the citizens is not planned or orchestrated by Mr Peter Obi or his nationwide supporters’.
It’s statement, signed by Comrade Uchenna Madu, who is the leader said “The federal government of Nigeria led Bola Ahmed Tinubu knows that the motivation and inciting of the massive organised protest is not influenced by Mr Peter Obi but the Northern oligarchic leaders which includes some powerful northern political, religious, opinion and traditional leaders.
The primary aim of these northern political bourgeoisies is not for the interest of poor Nigerian masses but for their advancement plot to hijack power back to Arewa interest in 2027. It is not about Mr Peter Obi or his supporters interest.
My Bayo Onanuga and Omokiri are two leading internal and external figures sponsored by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Federal government of Nigeria in waging wars of character assassination, blackmailing and incitement against Mr Peter Obi.
MASSOB describes Mr Peter Obi as a true nationalist, detribalized hope of the common citizens. He is being celebrated nationwide as the hero of modern democracy in Nigeria.
Though MASSOB believe in Biafra restoration, we acknowledged the input of Mr Peter Obi in advancement of uniting the Nigeria state.
