PRESS RELEASE

The Nationwide protest tagged ” Days of Rage” has shown the capacity of Ndigbo with deep Unity. Ndigbo are becoming wise with deep sense of history as regards the national politics.

From the time immemorial all the effort Ndigbo made to make Nigeria to work was misinterpreted or seen as an antagonism to the non-existing Nigeria unity championed by the West and Northern Nigeria. Ndigbo have always been antagonized in Nigeria for any slightest move.

Any Political step of Ndigbo looks suspicious to those cohabiting with the Igbos. Ndigbo are most suspected tribe in Nigeria. Yet those who are suspecting and not comfortable with Ndigbo have not joined the call for Referendum in Nigeria or support Ndigbo to secede.

Calling Ndigbo to join protest is not a gesture of love; it’s an act of conspiracy to lure Ndigbo to field of bloodbath.

No tribe have cried or lamented for Ndigbo apart from 2024 “Hunger Protest” when they remember to cry and lament why Igbos are not joining the protest, but Ndigbo have been protesting, marginalized, maimed, killed and with worst part of justice, while other tribes stand in akimbo and watch. But unfortunately today, they are lamenting because Ndigbo shunned Nationwide protest.

For those who cares to know, the silent of Ndigbo on the ongoing Nationwide protest is also a protest; just that we chose the best wise way to protest.

The 1st August 2024 is most peaceful day in the history of Southeast since 2015 former president Mohammadu Buhari came to power with project of causing carnage in Southeast just to fight, demonize Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) and tagged them Terrorist Organization.

I want to advice any Igbo person living outside Alaigbo that might be tempted to join the protest to have a rethink, because the chances of the person being a sacrificial lamb is 100% guaranteed.

I therefore, remind the president of federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure the adequate protection of lives and properties of Ndigbo living in outside Alaigbo.

I advise protesters to shun from any plans of looting, because such criminal act on Igbo shops or properties will be resisted by every necessary with a weapon that will place judgement of death upon the criminal- Protester in disguise.

As we’re reflecting on the over three (3) years incarceration of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in DSS dungeon from former president Mohammadu Buhari ruthless bloodthirsty Government, we are earnestly hoping for his release by the order of Commander In-chief of Arm forces federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Notwithstanding the ongoing protest in other parts of the country, Ndigbo are in sober reflection as we’re mourning our fallen Igbo icons who chronically left us at this crucial time;

Dr Ogbonnaya Onu

Chief Fred Agu

Chief Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu

Chief Ifeanyi Uba

Her Excellency Onyeka Onwenu.

This period for Ndigbo is not a period of engaging in ” ghaa ghaa ghaa” on the road or streets in the name of protesting for increment of “Beans and Rice” “Cassava and Agbado”. But it serves as very interesting opportunity for a proper sociopolitical reflection and meditation on the journey of our political freedom in Nigeria.

Ndigbo must use this ten (10) “Days of Rage Protest” to reflect on the Hundred and Ten years(110) political servitude Britain kept rest of Nigerians particularly how it affects Ndigbo since the 1914 economic Amalgamation of Southern and Northern Nigeria and Nigeria Independent of 1960 to 1967-70 Genocide against Ndigbo.

The protesters must sincerely think deep without sense of tribal sentiment if this contraption called Nigeria, a mere British government “Business Center” or “Cultivation Farm Land” worth to risk your life on the street.

Unfortunately, 2020 #EndSars Protest didn’t stop police brutality and corruption, it ended up by mere changing of name. Today “TIGER BASE” police department is worst than #SARS. Today police have upgraded and digitalized corrupt through extortion via POS and mobile transfer to their victims. The most police corrupt elements have been promoted, none involved in police brutality against civilians was prosecuted.

It obvious that Nigeria was better in 2020, than 2024, if you can’t listen to me that Nigeria is irredeemable why can’t you listen to Mallam Aminu Kano who said over 50 years ago that “Nigeria progress is One Step forward and two steps backward”

Our gallant protesters must ask themselves a deep question, the Nigeria you’re crying for to stay alive, is an Ogbenje child that’s born to die.

The Nigeria you’re crying for to live, don’t want to live, and wouldn’t live and will want you that want it to live to die. This is the irony of your protest. That’s why the protest has taken already the lives of some Nigerians. What has Nigeria done for you?

Why dying for a Country that should die for you to live?

Nigeria is like an “Ogbenje Child” who keep dying and keep coming again, yet still keep the poor mother childless. Therefore, it’s meaningless crying for an “Ogbenje Child” who has already chosen to die from the moment of conception.

Fellow country men and women, at this juncture you should reason with me that from the point of Amalgamation of Northern protectorate and Southern protectorate to form Nigeria, looking at cultural differences and religion differences, metal thinking, social life, and with seed of hatred planted by Britain against Ndigbo, Britain already knew that Nigeria is an ” Ogbenje Child, that will keep the mother childless even in the next 110 years Nigeria will remain an “Ogbenje Child that have sworn to keep the mother childless.

He who decides to save an ” Ogbenje Child” must be aware that it’s in the nature and destiny of the child to DIE, and such man who died in trying to rescue an “Ogbenje Child” should be buried in an Evil Forest, because he foolishly embraced his death. Nigeria is irredeemable!

Ndigbo will no longer be part in rescuing “An Ogbenje Child” whose destiny is to die.

Southern protectorate and Northern protectorate was merged together just for business convenient for British Government, not for Political cum economic development in Nigeria, we therefore balkanize Nigeria for survival convenient for Nigerians.

I hail Ndigbo for adhering to none protest declaration in Igboland and their wisdom in chosing a new Political destiny in Nigeria.
