The Bishop of the Methodist Diocese Of Awkunanaw; His Lordship Bishop Dennis Mark has adopted the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Enugu East Senatorial Zone, High Princess Ada Ogbu Nara Unateze as sole candidate.
The candidate was in the church for a consultative visit to the bishop, to relate to him her vision for aspiring to represent Ndi Enugu East Senatorial District and as well seek the blessings, prayers and support of the Bishop as well as the entire Methodist Diocese of Awkunanaw.
The Bishop was pleased to receive the Amazon, and expressed satisfaction for her courage, passion and empathy to salvage her people, and assured her of his support and that of the church.
In his words, he said, “Let me assure you that I will definitely support you. For deeming it fit to honour me, you have my word and as the bishop of the Diocese anywhere I am there the pastors will be”.
The Bishop during the visit also had with him other priests and Presbyters of the Diocese.
Highlight of the event was the victory prayer cum declaration made for the incoming Senator.
