Veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva has taken to social media to refute rumours of her husband Olu Jacobs’ death.

In a statement posted to her Instagram story, the actress informed fans and well-wishers that her husband was well.

The statement read, “Good day everyone, trust all is going well. The Jacobs clan would love to inform you that Pa J Olu Jacobs MFR is alive and doing well, enjoying himself as always in the comfort of his home and loved ones.”

“To all those who have decided to our last warning regarding fake news, kindly prepare for legal actions. Signed House of Jacobs.”

However, this isn’t the first time the actress has publicly refuted rumours about her husband’s death.

In 2021, Joke Silva, in an exclusive interview, clarified that Olu Jacobs was enjoying a nice meal at the time, contrary to rumours.

“Don’t mind them; they’re just talking rubbish; don’t disturb your head. He is in the living room right now about to have Eba and Ogbono soup. Let them keep deceiving themselves. He is hale and hearty.”

The couple celebrated Olu Jacobs’ 80th birthday this year with a party that was attended by many industry favourites.

Recall that last year; Joke Silva opened up about her husband’s ill health, which accounted for why he was no longer in the limelight.

Silva revealed that he was suffering from dementia in a chat with Chude Jideonwo.
