Governor Obaseki should stop peddling with the royal stool with his unwholesome style of politics.

The Governor and the Traditional Institution are two separate entities, I still do not understand why Governor Godwin Obaseki is so interested in the traditional affairs. There is no month whereby governor Godwin Obaseki does not show up in the news with all sorts of stories from the Benin Traditional Council.

Kindly tell Godwin Obaseki to go and pay the backlog of salaries owed to civil servants in the state and leave the Traditional Council alone to function on its own as it has always done.

This is an eye opener for the Enogies, the traditional rulers and the Benin Traditional Council as a whole, and I know that Traditional Rulers in Edo state are between 250 and 300, yet Governor Godwin Obaseki said he will be paying them. Can anyone trust a serial betrayal like Governor Godwin Obaseki who has betrayed all humankind?

If he recognises the Oba of Benin as the head of Benin Traditional Council, why then is Godwin Obaseki owing the Benin Traditional Council for 7 months amounting to ₦600,000,000. I am not putting this up, It is verifiable from the BTC.

Obviously, Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki is doing all of these things to taunt and witchhunt the Omo N’Oba of Benin and he is doing this against our ancestors because who fights the Oba of Benin fights the Benins.

Oba of Benin Honours Late Queen Mother

We all can recall that during the last election, Governor Godwin Obaseki rolled out the position of SAs and SSAs and after, he has fraudulently rigged the election through his Chief of Thug (Osaigbovo Iyoha) who moslested and harassed everyone.

it wasn’t even get up to a month after the election, Godwin Obaseki fired the SAs and SSAs after using them selfishly and you all also know that there is a serious fight between himself and his Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu because of their selfish interests. So I am calling on the Enigies, the chiefs that they should please do not believe Godwin Obaseki and If ever he meant what he said, then he should release the ₦600,000,000 owed to the Traditional Council. Godwin Obaseki is not the first Governor we have had, every governor has adhered to this and this money is coming from the Federal allocation, if GODWIN OBASEKI can get the security vote monthly which he doesn’t use to secure anybody because we probably have the highest security in Edo State.

The reason why Governor Godwin Obaseki is doing all of these is because the local government election is coming, he is therefore using this to taunt all the chiefs, because if he gives them the stipend, they’ll think something Good is about to happen.

Beware of Godwin Obaseki and his tricks, he does not mean well for the palace.

Governor Godwin Obaseki there are lot of things to battle with, Our roads are bad, hospitals need to be fixed and subsidized so the ordinary citizen can have access to healthcare, the Governor should leave the Palace alone and stop peddling with the royal affairs. The Traditional Council has been in existence and will continue to be in existence even after his 8 years of governorship.

We can no longer tolerate this act as the Governor of Edo State has crossed the boundaries, the child that says his mother will not sleep himself will not sleep!
