OPM salutes Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s constant commitments in keeping faith with the good governance agenda of his noble administration, especially on such vital issues bordering on the social welfare concerns of the people of Enugu State.

Just like Adam Smith asserted; “the invisible hand of self-interest ‘frequently’ leads men to effectually promote the interests of society.

Economists of modern times have refined this idea into a more precise theorem which can be worded in the following perspectives:

Giving a number of ideal conditions; optimising behaviour on the part of individuals and firms under pure competition leads to an efficient (pareto-optimal) social outcome.

Talking about the Marginal Rate of Substitution (MRS) in Macroeconomic theory and practice, with the ideal conditions and the consequences of their violation which is the Chief rationale for the existence of the State.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s discretional fiscal policy tool of ordering the suspension of the outrageous hostel accommodation fee imposed on the students of IMT without recourse to the prevailing economic realities of the country, is a compesentory fiscal policy action which aims at continuously compensating the individual economy of the state against chronic tendencies towards inflation and deflation by manipulation of public expenditure and taxes.

‘I am better than Peter Obi, need no manifesto to lead Enugu to glory’ — Chijioke Edeoga

Our dear Governor in his usual fatherly disposition, applied solomonic wisdom by inviting the leadership of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) to the lion building. After listening to the students who came to him on a peaceful protest.

He used that instrument to put an end to the likely accompanying post students protest razzmatazz which may follow as well as the consequent heavy economic burden on the parents and guardians of the students, this justifies our dear Governor’s, humility, leadership and governance wisdom.

OPM stands with the Peoples Governor of Enugu State because this discretional fiscal policy directive suspending permanently, the outrageous hostel accommodation fee is essential to raise effective demand, employment, output and income within the local economy of the State.

OPM Stands strongly with the Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s leadership model in Enugu State and recommend it as a Success Digest for aspiring leaders and all leadership stake holders in our contemporary Nigeria.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi should know that leaders such as himself who is genuinely God-fearing, sets the mark for posterity to judge. Human beings may deny him the due honour and acknowledgement but history will give him his due

Enugu State is Truly in the hands of God!
