The Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr Kanu Uche has elevated Reverend Nkem Ofoelue of the Methodist Church, Diocese of D/Line, Port Harcourt in Rivers State to the office of Presbyter.
Following this preferment, he is now to be referred to as ‘The Very Reverend Nkem Ofoelue’.
The Very Reverend Nkem Ofoelue obtained a Bachelors Degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. He got called to serve as God’s minister and went to the Methodist Theological Institute, Umuahia to study in 2005.
He was ordained a Minister 2010.
He also attended the Cliff College, Sheffield, England, where he obtained an International Diploma in Ministry and Mission in 2012.
He is currently the Minister in Charge of Methodist Church Nigeria, Rukpokwu, Obio Akpor, under D/Line Diocese.
He created and has been the presenter of the life reforming Christian hymn programme, Golden Hymns at Treasure FM, Port Harcourt.
He is also the founder of the Golden Gate Orchestral Choir, Port Harcourt.
