Criminals suspected to be Boko Haram bandits have reportedly overrun the Tsafe-Yankara, in Zamfara State, and Kaduna-Abuja highways respectively, launching heavy gun attacks on travelers.
This is coming less than 24 hours after attack on Abuja-Kaduna bound train leaving several dead and many wounded.
Paaasengers on the roads have been forced to abandon their vehicles for fear of being hit by bullets by the marauders.
Some of them have called for the government to send security, as well as rescue teams to evacuate them from the face of danger.
