Commonwealth Merit Award: Group awards Monday Diamond Ani Most Outstanding Young Leader in South East

Enugu-born versatile personality, Hon Monday Diamond Ani JP was on August 1, was honoured by the Commonwealth Organization, Nigeria as the Most Outstanding Young Leader in South East.

 

 

This event took place at the National Merit Award House Maitama, Abuja during the annual Commonwealth Organization, Nigeria Ambassadorial and Merit Award program.

In a statement by the Secretary General of Commonwealth Organization, Nigeria Prince Musa ABUBAKAR ABUTU, Commonwealth recognizes and honours exceptional persons annually,those who have undented image, anchored on enviable track records and remarkable reputation based on their leadership and humanitarian services to the society, understanding that Commonwealth is not common but should be seen as a common service to the most common people in tne society.

 

 

He acknowledged that Hon Monday Diamond Ani JP(Odoziobodo )has been watched and followed closely over the years by the research and evaluation Team of Commonwealth Organization, Nigeria and the UK,and of a fact ,his track record and reputation are enviable.

 

According to Prince Abutu, “Mr Diamond, we have followed your activities and heard so much about you, everyone who knows you loves you because your service to humanity, integrity and reputation are enviable, hence we decided to nominate and honour you this year.”

 

In response, Hon Monday Diamond Ani appreciated the Commonwealth Organization, promising to continue serving the society with the multiple gifts of God in him and also dedicated the Award to the Governor of Enugu State Barr Peter Mbah for his record breaking infrastructural development of Enugu State.

 

 

Commonwealth Organization, Nigeria is the country’s component of Commonwealth Organization United Kingdom and it is being chaired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while the secretarial and administrative functions are under Prince Musa Abubakar Abutu who serves as the Secretary General.
