Enugu, Nigeria —Fiery Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has fiercely defended his ministry against what he described as baseless allegations, warning fellow priests not to join in casting aspersions on him or his congregation.
Addressing worshippers during a recent service, Mbaka declared:
“It is never true. Elishop Adoration, which is in the Adoration, he can never be from us. I live to defend this ministry and my children’s good name.”
Hints at Concealed Intrigues
The outspoken cleric suggested that hidden forces were manipulating narratives to protect certain interests.
“They never knew, which I told them that morning and they refused. Otherwise, the truth about this matter—what happened—the priests of dances are not aware of the trains and the tragedies that passed through in an attempt to cover my bishop,” he said.
Appeal to Fellow Priests
Turning to his colleagues, Mbaka issued a passionate plea:
“My brother priests, I love you. Don’t join anybody to castigate me.”
“Don’t Push Me to the Wall”
While insisting on discretion to protect the Church’s image, Mbaka warned that persistent provocation could force him to reveal damaging truths.
“If you push me to the wall, don’t blame me. So everybody should keep quiet. Let’s not wash our dirtiness in public,” he cautioned.
