The Ekwueme Campaign Organization has congratulated the House of Assembly member representing Uzo Uwani State Constituency, Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Martins Chukwuma Ekwueme over his victory at the 2023 Election Tribunal.

Recall that on Wednesday, 13th September, Ekwueme was affirmed as the authentic winner of the Assembly Election in Uzo Uwani. This is the second victory of the lawmaker, having defeated Ifeanyi Utazi of Labour Party both at the polls and now at the Tribunal.

Speaking at the development, the campaign organisation, through its Director General, Comrade Rita Eberechukwu Anigbogu said that the tribunal victory is a true testimony that Ekwueme indeed, was elected by the people of Uzo Uwani to be their eyes and ears, and bring the benefits of good governance home to them.

Anigbogu also called on members of other political parties both in Uzo Uwani and Enugu State to accept the verdict of the people and the court, congratulate Ekwueme and join hands to make the current leadership a success.

Her words: “the victory of our Principal, Hon Chukwuma Ekwueme at the tribunal has shown that his election is authentic, and that neither rigging nor thuggery brought him to power. Indeed, this gentleman cane to power through the voice of the people, and as you know, the voice of the people is the voice of God.

“While we rejoice at this, we are calling on all our people, home and abroad, especially the opposition, that it’s time to embrace the new leadership. It’s time for everyone to congratulate Nwa Ekwueme on this ebbulient victory, and join him to make Uzo Uwani, Enugu State and our dear country a better place.
