The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Youths Matters, Hon. Felix Kurogha has said that there is an urgent need to reduce social vices among Nigerian youths across the country.

Kurogha stated this at the Sheraton Hotel in Abuja on the 27th, April 2021 while addressing youths drawn from the various states of the Niger Delta.

The purpose of the meeting is geared towards proferring solution and the way forward to reducing the high rate of social vices and crises across the country to a minimal level.

The SSA made revealed to the delegation that Mr. President is interested in the youth popu of the country, and is eager to ensure that the evil social vices to destroy the country is reduced, and completely eliminated.

He also assured the delegation of the readiness of the Federal Government, ably led by His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR to work with the youths and also create an enabling environment, in addition building capacity across the 36 States of the Federation.

Hon. Felix Kurogha also used the opportunity to unveil the appointment of Comrade David Awasa as his Personal Assistant (PA).

Also speaking on his office, Kurogha assured the delegation that names of various State Coordinators across 36 States of the Federation will be officially published and liaison offices will be situated in every state to effectively carry out this rigorous assignment.

He also briefed the delegation on the up-coming capacity event as part of Mr. President’s commitment to the youths of this country.
