Foundation writes PSC, demands justice over killing of suspect by DPO in Apostle Suleiman’s assassination attempt

One Love Foundation has written to the Police Service Commission (PSC) in Abuja, demanding for a thorough investigation of reasons why the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Auchi Police Command killed a suspect involved in the attempted killing of Apostle Johnson Suleiman.

OLF, speaking through its founder, Chief Dr Patrick Eholor, had earlier said in an interview with Jungle-Journalist.Com that by killing the suspect, and destroying the only exhibit that would have helped to unravel the crime, the DPO has ended up making the case difficult to handle by the security.

He equally said by this singular act, the DPO has made himself a suspect, that must stand trial in the matter.

A letter, signed by the legal representative of OLF, Ihensekhien Samuel Jnr, and addressed to the PSC, requested that it launch a ‘prompt, impartial and exhaustive investigation by a crack and impartial team of both the Nigeria Police Force and Police Service Commission to unravel the mystery, culpabality of all actors and police personnel behind this case and bring to justice/prosecution all culpable person’s and personnel in this regard’

Earlier in an interview, Eholor had told journalists “First of all, my condolences go
to the families of those police officers who died in the shootout.

I also thank God for the life of the survivors-Apostle Johnson Suleiman, his wife and children.

Like I have always said, its unfortunate that most churches are scams and the Nigerian government has somehow allowed this scam to go on. Look at a country like Rwanda, it has managed to get the pastors and imams, scrutinize them, and made sure that they don’t steal from the people, and that they don’t take advantage of the people’s gullibility to swindle them. He has also successfully shut down over 6000 religious houses who failed to meet the criteria given.

Unfortunately, Nigeria pays no attention to the atrocities of so called men of God.

In 2014, Pastor Oritsejafor used a private air craft to launder a lot of cash and the South African authorities seized the plain and till date we have not heard anything again.

We don’t know how it went, who owned the money or who owned the plane.

President Muhammadu Buhari has said nothing, Goodluck Jonathan didn’t say anything back then.

A lot have been said about Nigerian pastors, but we cannot allow them to continue to launder stolen money from politicians and civil servants, and go through the hands of the security. If its not stopped now, we are going to have a lot of problems in the future.

Going back to the issue of the killing of the suspect, this is the same thing I said when the military chief authorised the burning of a vessel carrying stolen crude oil in Delta State.

If the Chief of Defence don’t have anything to cover, that vessel would have been thoroughly givento forensic experts to be investigated.

If the DPO has nothing to hide, then the police would have arrested the suspects. The police is to arrest and charge the suspects to court, hand him to the prosecutor who does his job to convict or free the suspect.

For killing the criminal, I think the man should be put on trial because he has ulterior motive. The police officer knows what we don’t know. We have had situations where crimes are committed, but even to arrest one person becomes a problem, we would have been able to ask, who sent them? Why did they come?

In as much as we sympathize with Suleiman, we are not collectively stupid. You said this has been going on since 2017, that we don’t know the depth of this matter, that if you come out and say it, those who are behind it are going to deny.

You know those after you. You asked for police protection, you were able to protect your life with a bullet proof car, and the police given to you, you were protecting their patrol vans with stickers and anointing oil. Doesn’t make sense.

We are just too gullible, and follow people blindly in the name or God. Suleiman said himself that he was protected by the bullet proof car, but how many of us ca afford a bullet proof car? Why can’t he at least protect the police or protect those with him?

Unfortunately, Suleiman talks before he thinks, and its unfortunate that a man of God cannot process his thought processes before he talks.

This is a man who.has been accused by numerous women of sexual exploitation. And he has come out to deny them. Does it mean they are all liars?

Those who are going to worship God should worship in spirit and truth, do not worship men. Men are very deceitful.

The Nigerian police, the DSS should be concerned about this.

Every security apparatus in this country should be interested that case. Suleiman is a prominent preacher, so if there are people after him, the police should be up and.doing so that we can trust them and have confidence.

If there are people after him, the police must try to be responsible so that we can have confidence and feel safe.

The Police should.also try to be responsible so tUnfortunately, Nigeria pays no attention to the atrocities of so called men of God.

In 2014, Pastor Oritsejafor used a private air craft to launder a lot of cash and the South African authorities seized the plain and till date we have not heard anything again.
