Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State Of Biafra (MASSOB) expressed shock over the death of our foremost Igbo leader, High Chief Mbazulike Amaechi.

According to the group, Ndigbo has lost a fearless and eloquent leader, a national peace maker, a hero, selfless leader and father.

MASSOB further described him as a visionary leader and lover of Igbo nation.

A Press Release, signed by Comrade Edeson Samuel, the National Director of
Information for
MASSOB read further “He was Nigeria first Aviation minister and a prominent member of zikism movement, a Biafra General.

“MASSOB and Biafrans in general mourns his demise. His fatherly advise, admonishments and roles he played in the fight for the enmacipation of igbo nation can never be forgotten by Ndigbo and the world at large
Chief Mbazuluike Amechi is a true son of Igbo land .

“It is more painful that his last wish of releasing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was yet to be granted by General Muhammadu Buhari led APC federal government of Nigeria .

“MASSOB is calling on General Buhari to grant the last wish of Chief Mbazulike by releasing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu without further delay because that was his last wish

“MASSOB insist that his last wish must be done even in his death because the last wish of a patriach in African tradition must be adhered to even in his death.
The spirit of Chief Mbazuluike Amechi must be appeased by releasing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for him to rest in peace. Failing to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will attract more devastaive calamities and wrath to Nigeria.

“MASSOB reminds President Muhammadul Buhari about his promise to Chief Mbazulike Amechi that the Court will decide on the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu but when the court decided in discharging him, President Buhari refused the order of the court”.
