The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra MASSOB has said that former Deputy Senate president, Senator Ike Ekweremadu is suffering for the things he did against his people.
MASSOB, led by Comrade Uchenna Madu, in a Press Statement signed by its National Director of Information, Comrade Edeson Samuel said although the Biafran group is ashamed of the crimes that led to Ekweremadu’s arrest, however, it is glad because the Senator is used to working for northerners, to the detriment of Ndi Igbo.
Part of the statement read “We are ashamed of this sacrilegious and irresponsible acts of a so called national leader. What kind of monetary inducement will make Ike Ekweremadu and his wife to stoop so low for this criminality if not they are mentaly slaved and subjected by Hausa Fulani oligarchy as political errand boy and girl?
“Ike Ekweremadu is now suffering for the sabotage campaign he is leading against national justice and Peter Obi emerging as the next president of Nigeria.
“Ike Ekweremadu and all his political gangs from South East involved in campaigns of thwarting the emerging of a competent president that will redeem the future of the Nigeria youths will experience similar shames like their bought master”.
It further prayed for the recovery of the senator’s daughter, but asked that the Ancestors hand over a speedy and deserved judgment against Ekweremadu.
