Foremost investor and founder of Rojenny Games Village, Oba Anambra State, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka has warned that, unless urgent measures are taken to bury unclaimed human bodies scattered in different mortuaries in Igbo land, atrocities and abominations would continue in the region unabated.

Ezeonwuka, who is the Ogilisi Igbo (Spiritual Leader) while speaking in an interview, stated that the reason for too many killings, kidnappings, money rituals, sudden deaths, and mysterious horrible occurrences across the South East is because Ndi Igbo have lost their respect for the dead.

He opined that the modern culture of abandoning dead loved ones’ bodies in mortuaries for long periods leave the dead unattended and bring about ‘uchu’ or curses upon the land. He wondered why Igbo people find it difficult to honour their dead by quickly burying their dead and conducting the funeral later, as was the custom in the past.

Ogilisi Igbo also frowned at the habit of loud, lavish and expensive burial festivals of the dead, after they must have been left for long periods in mortuaries.

Hear him “We are living souls which came from the spirit world to the physical, and we will eventually return to the land of spirits, but there is a cord that brings us to earth, and another that returns us to the spirit world. The one that brings us here is the umbilical cord that is severed at the point of birth of a child. Once it’s severed from the mother’s womb, the soul enters his body. This soul is the breath of God. It enters the flesh made of the soil of the earth. Our body is moulded from the soil, that’s what God said, and He made it a living soul.

Now, we are dwelling as souls, and God has provided benevolent spirits that protect us. There are are angels and archangels. The archangels that you hear of are Archangel Michael – Oye, Archangel Raphael – Nkwo, Archangel Gabriel – Afor, Archangel Uriel – Eke. They are the ones that chased the Satan away from heaven. Satan gave God serious concerns in heaven and was chased off.

This malevolent spirit was coming to torment helpless mankind, and he came with millions of other dissident angels like himself down, and they are dwelling among us today. The ancients knew the protecting archangels.

So, when children are born, they are dedicated to the archangels whose duty was to protect mankind from Satan. So, we had Nweke or Okeke, Nwoye or Okoye, Nwafor or Okafor and Nwankwo or Okonkwo.

That arch angel will be your guardian angel of birth, and also have you as his own share. So he works with your own personal guardian angel to protect you. Everyone has a guardian angel. Their job is that any time your soul leaves your body, it is their duty to escort your soul back to God head.

But in Igbo land, once a man dies, he is taken to a mortuary and locked away. The guardian angel then cries and returns to heaven empty handed. He cannot escort a soul home anymore. This is why Muslims are greater than us, are stronger. It will be difficult for Muslims to accept Christians, who mess up with the carcass of humans instead of returning them to mother earth.

As Christians, the follower of Jesus Christ, let us be aware that His words in Mathew 8:21-22 and Luke 9:59-60 is truth to the letter. Jesus told the potential followers to follow him, “let the dead bury their own dead”, and when He Christ died on the cross, he was buried same day and on the third day, he rose from the dead.

This technique applies to every living soul because all souls are breath of God that must go back to God after severing the silver cord by sand unto sand by earth 6feet, or dust unto dust by cremation.

The Muslims of the North cannot tolerate Christians and their ways which they see as infidel. This is because our people mingle with corpses. They don’t let their corpses stay behind the day it dies but bury them immediately.

You should know that once you begin to mingle with dead bodies, you are unclean. Go to the Book of Numbers, chapter 19,verses 11 to 23. When you read this, you realise that Igbos are unclean! That’s why they Muslims describe us as infidel.

The Bible says, don’t mingle with corspes. Once you mingle with corspes, you are infidel, you are rotten, you are unclean. You need to cleanse yourself. Even the one they carry corspes into the church, that act alone makes everyone in the church unclean and they must be cleansed for seven days for them to be clean again.

Apart from that, after you sever the umbilical cord, another cord that is severed is the one that connects the human world and the spirit world. It is called the silver cord. I want you to be aware of where our problem is coming from. You must avoid anyone who goes to a place of burial. If you shake them, you also become unclean.

Undertakers, mortuary attendants, and church people have turned corspes into a thing of caricature. They now use dead bodies for entertainment! In the 70s and 80s, nothing like fear in Igboland. In those days, you don’t abandon dead bodies in the mortuary. Once someone dies and it is announced, the church bell is rung and the cathechist goes and gets him buried, and a day will be fixed for his funeral. Corspes were not kept in mortuaries back then.

Dead bodies are now being used for business purposes. The worst part now is that anyone whose father or mother dies now does not care to look for money and bury them, but starts a public funds appeal. This is the height of humiliation. You will not bury your parent unless friends contribute money for you? This is iberibersm. When you start using the dead to enrich yourself, is that not money ritual we so vehemently condemn?

We must protect both the living and the dead, and the only way we can achieve this is by letting the dead return to the land of the dead, as they have no business on earth after their death. Just as we fight to ensure that our living are comfortable and safe, we must also ensure that our dead are same. When you abandon your parent’s dead body with a mortician, are they safe there? They are not, and they are not happy.

If the Igbo take a bold step to bury the millions of dead bodies crying in agony in our mortiaries, the sun of the angels will arise in Igboland and peace will return. Most morticians are criminal cultists, cutting off human parts to use for whatever they like. They have access to corpses and human parts and do what they like with the bodies. The states, beginning with my state Anambra has to take a decision. Any corpse lying around in the mortuaries that has stayed for over two months, the owners must be mandated to go and bury them immediately, and if they don’t, mass burial should be conducted for them all, so that they may return in peace.

Ọnụma (Sorrow) arising from the dead is what has possessed Igbo land and perpetrating criminality across board. As we have said, if they don’t return to the land of the spirits, they will continue to deal with us, until our people listens to Ogilisi. Gov Willie Obiano was faced with the same dilemma until he conducted burial and mourning for those who died in the war. Go and read the book of Ozoemena.

I led the campaign. I wanted to do it with Chief Ralph Uwazuruike but he backed out, giving reasons, so I left him.

There is a secret in killing of humans. Humans do not die. When you kill someone, what you have killed is the body, the spirit vacated that body and takes possession of another body. It’s the dead that has possessed these people that are into kidnapping and armed robbery in our communities now. It is their spirits that I am advocating that they should be sent back to the land of spirits. If they return to the land of spirits, the government of spirits will protect them.

The government of human existence cannot regulate the actions of the wandering spirits that possess the living and wreck havoc. They don’t have the capacity.

If this is madness, won’t we look for a way to cure it? I have been saying this for 15 years and no one is listening to me.

That’s how I kept crying out over Biafra war heroes, and thanks to Obiano, they were buried and mourned, even though the ceremony was not completed.

Same applies to cremation. If the body is refused burial, the spirit of that person will be hovering around, angry and afraid, and causing the heinous abominations you are seeing in Igbo land. It’s they that possess our youths involved in this mayhem. It’s they that also possess some of the pentecostal pastors and native doctors that perform terrible human rituals, those sucking blood. These are demons.

The kidnappers are having a field day, and it has becoming a booming business in the South East. You think this is ending soon? It will only end when the dead are given their rights. But those possessed are now in business and won’t want to stop.

But if we are able to handle the spiritual, our problems will be solved.

Our people are saying there is kidnapping in the north also. The answer is the Muslims do not fear but Christians are living in fear which is generated by the ghosts and zombies of unburied corpses. Minus fear, Igbos can never allow the kidnapping business to succeed in Igbo land because Igbos are pure children of God.

Many are now coming out to speak, and bury their dead once they die. Look at Ikedife, a former Minister, and led Ohanaeze, he specifically requested to be buried on an unmarked grave, without an elaborate funeral. He died and was quietly buried.

He wasn’t sent to the mortuary, a renown doctor that owned a mega hospital. When you give the dead proper burial, they can return easily as proper reincarnated beings. But those whose corpses were bastardized, they reincarnate as bastardized humans. The type of humans that are born these days are not the same as the ones born in the past.

What our state Governors should do is this-

Summon all the morticians and mortiary management, have a meeting with the Commissioners for Health and that of Environment.

The morticians are heavily into human parts rituals and have transformed themselves into half demons. Let them bring all corpses in their mortuaries older than two months there. Let’s use the burial law in Anambra to enforce this. They should provide their records or stand to be jailed. When they bring the names, you will realise that we are in serious trouble. Those dead people are neither among the dead nor the living. They are not happy. All the bodies should be given mass burial and you will be amazed at the kind of peace we will experience in Igbo land. Even potholes and erosions will disappear. Then the angels that left in sorrow will return and begin to help us as they ought to do. Angels do not dwell where there are corpses. Let us carry out this assignment and see if things won’t turn around”, said he.

Concluding, Ezeonwuka stated “Our people pretend too much. We pay little or no attention to the living, we do not extend enough love to the living, but once dead, we will begin to shower love on the dead bodies. Instead of loving the living, and letting them return to God at the point of death, we hold on to their bodies, thereby stirring anger in the spiritual world.

If we can give 10 percent of the love we give to the dead to the living, and care for them when hungry or sick, love will envelope our society and evils will vanish from among us.

Give the living even 10% love you give to the dead. Those that hate the living and only love their dead bodies are destroying the blissful journey of the soul back to the creator. As souls incarnate quietly at birth without crowd gathering until the day of child dedication, so soul shall depart at death in burial without crowd gathering until day of funeral ceremony”, he finished.
