🇳🇬 THE ANXIOUS HUNT FOR KWANKWASO’S PAIRING WITH PETER OBI

By Tony Akeni Le Moin, Chaplain of the Forgotten, Global Coordinator Nigeria Cannot Continue Like This (NCC-LIT), National Coordinator Peter Obi 37 Merger Movement (POMM), Abuja.

Dear Fellow Countrymen & Women in the Struggle for a Better Nigeria,

Mark my words.

I wish we could look beyond Kwankwaso for an alternative. And there are if we search enough.

If you ask me who else, my reply will be that politically there’s “all-denomination” Babagana Zulum of Borno state, even Ibrahim Shekarau, and several more.

I wish we had spent half the same time our NCFront and Labour Party folks have spent on Kwankwaso on liaising with Zulum. Zulum is almost everything you benchmark about Peter Obi. Together the pair as President and Vice are the type of modern political leaders who have the latent energy and potent vision to lead Nigeria from the trust-wasted point-and-kill Stone Age of the Buhari era to a solid 22nd century civilization.

Let’s not have someone next to Peter Obi who is as if all Nigerians are on their knees begging him to be Vice to PO. So that we don’t end up having an arrogant, insubordinate and overambitious Vice temptable with treason like Macbeth, who would give Peter Obi a strained, hostile Obasanjo-Atiku type of Presidency tensions, fracas, frazzles and even a freezer journey for PO, God forbid. We don’t want a John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson “accident” and succession incident in our hands, God forbid.

Kwankwaso was once here with us of the NCFront Third Force multi-party, multi-movement coalition. He left. Left unceremoniously, to the best of my knowledge and indifferently to worst of my apprehensions even before he left.

The most successful or peaceful Presidency all over the world are those with a humble, subordinate and harmonious VP. Yar’Ardua and Jonathan. Jonathan and Namadi Sambo. US’ Obama and Joe Biden. US’ Biden and Kamala Harris. On the other hand, shoulder measuring leaders like Burkina Faso’s Thomas Sankara and Blaise Campaores, Somalian President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed and his public affray Deputy Mahdi Mohammed Guled, Obasanjo and Atiku type personality pairings never work. Not well or to the end.

Be confident of this very thing. Peter Obi is a divine happenstance in the history of Nigeria as a country. He is a phenomenon with Almighty God’s hand distinctly and heavily on his Presidency Project and Kwankwaso or not, victory is a matter of divine course and denoument. Let’s not arc ourselves into a position of giving the glory of Nigeria’s liberation and victory in 2023 to man instead of Almighty Allah.

Back then to this question of Kwankwaso, slow Down. Re-think. Disappointments are either a blessing or a lesson. Both have Benefits.

I don’t speak lightly but with insight beyond the moment. Those who have diaries, bring down your pen and record. Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying.

Thank you and God bless you all as you sincerely consider my humble missive above in the best interest of our collective journey to 2023 and Nigeria’s peaceful liberation therefrom.

Tony Akeni Le Moin, Sun. June 19, 2022.
