The former governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi is said to have visited the leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso immediately after announcing his withdrawal from the presidential race of the PDP.
Earlier today, Obi withdrew from the contest for the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and left the party.

Indications have emerged that Obi may be offered the vice presidential ticket of the party, where Kwankwaso oukd be running for President.
