Eze Eberechukwu Oji, the recently crowned monarch of the Arochukwu Kingdom, has urged everyone to put an end to conflicts and work together in revitalizing and advancing the Aro Kingdom following his ascension to the throne.
He made this statement at the Cultural Festival held at Amaikpe Square in Arochukwu LGA, Abia State, on July 26, 2024, emphasizing his goal to elevate the Arochukwu Kingdom to the top position among communities in the country.
Additionally, he emphasized that the era of warfare has ended and the kingdom is ready to make significant developmental progress, especially under the leadership of Dr. Alex Otti, the Executive Governor of Abia State.
“Aro Kingdom is progressing. We are fortunate that our son is the Governor of the State. We have every reason to move forward, so I urge everyone to put aside their differences and join us in repositioning our beloved community.”
The cultural festival featured masquerades and dances from the 19 villages in the Arochukwu Kingdom, each expressing their loyalty to the throne and wishing it a prosperous future.
