Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo

The Director General of Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo Governorship Campaign Team, Dr. Harris Chuma-Odili, has said that the divisive tendencies of some of the APGA leaders have set the ruling APGA in the state to handover power to ADC in 2022.

Nwankpo made the shocking remark while congratulating the National Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Governor Willie Obiano, on the successful inauguration of the APGA Campaign Team yesterday.

The ADC Campaign DG, who made the claim in a press statement issued at the end of the Campaign Strategic Team meeting held on Saturday at the Campaign Office, Awka, said that the crisis in APGA is irreconcilable.

“The factional leaders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance are traveling in a faulty aircraft, and ADC is currently evacuating the occupants. The spate of conflicting Court orders had led many into confusion in the state. APGA members are quietly moving into the ADC in droves” he said.

Dr Chuma-Odili called on the leadership of the various factions of APGA party to work towards the advancement of the ADC party, noting that APGA has lost it, and locked out of the room legally.

“ADC is peaceful and the most respected political party in Nigeria. It is safer for APGA to collapse into ADC, than to make the costly mistake of allowing All Progressives Congress, APC, take over the state. Recently, we have extended our hands of friendship to all the ailing political parties in Anambra including but not limited to PDP, and APGA.

“The divisive gathering of factions within the APGA party, will be resolved by ADC. We have called on all factional leaders to bury their individual interests and come under a united ADC in Anambra State. Let’s save our darling state from the invaders.”

“The ADC’s current registration and revalidation exercise across the state has witnessed very high turnout of members because of the massive influx of people from YPP, PDP, APGA factions and groups joining the party. We are proud to report that the excellently coordinated ADC registration and revalidation exercise in the state has positioned the party on the road to victory in the upcoming Gubernatorial election” Dr. Chuma-Odili submitted”.
